Three dead, two injured, one missing after boat sinks near Breezy Point
Three people have died and two others have been hospitalized after a boat sank 5 miles southeast of Breezy Point near the New York borough of Queens. The accident happened last Sunday, but the search for one person is still ongoing.
Three people are dead, two are in hospital – one in critical condition – and one person is missing after a tragic accident near Breezy Point near Queens. The victims and injured were passengers on a boat that sank on Sunday, February 23.
The Coast Guard, New York and New Jersey police, the New York Fire Department and a group of pilots from Sandy Hook responded to the scene.
In addition, the Sentinel-class cutter Chadwick and a Coast Guard air crew from Atlantic City were used to search for one person who is still missing.
