More and more teenagers are thinking about saving money instead of vacation. Experts emphasize that although the youngest employees most often receive the minimum wage on a contract for services, thanks to the exemption from income tax, the gross amount goes to their accounts instead of the net amount. We know how much you can earn in the current season.

Data provided by Personnel Service shows that young workers can earn the most this summer on occasional construction work. People under 26 can receive from 31 to 50 PLN for each hour worked . Water sports instructors are also sought after, who can count on earnings of 24 to 50 PLN per hour.

This means that on a monthly basis, the youngest employees will receive no less than PLN 4,666 . However, earnings may vary depending on the nature of the duties performed and the place of employment.

The best-paid young workers can earn up to PLN 8,400 . - The greatest demand is, of course, in catering work - reveals Monika Skuballa , director of the Center for Education of Work and Youth in Wrocław.

- Guests come, I greet them, take their orders, then serve them the dishes - says waitress Zuzanna about her job.

This summer, teenagers can find employment, among others, in the Głogów housing cooperative "Nadodrze", which employs cleaning workers . As Maciej Stopczyk, a reporter from "Wydarzenia", managed to establish, for working there for two weeks part-time, the young people can receive 1,220 PLN.

The campaign is enjoying considerable interest. - We had as many as 199 applications from people interested in work, and we could only draw 66 - says Lidia Chyb-Rodak from SM "Nadodrze" in Głogów.

Both employers and young people are happy with the employment opportunities. Teenagers are eager to share their plans and talk about what they will spend their earnings on. Among the dreams of young people are, among others, traveling and becoming independent .

- I want to save up money to go to Japan with my sister, so I'm working hard to cover the costs of this trip - says one of the interviewees of "Wydarzenia".

- Lying on the beach is nice and pleasant, but the money won't earn itself. I won't deny that you can earn a lot during the season - adds Wiktoria from Słupsk.
