Even a million złoty for gardens. Money has been pouring in for gardeners

- Four RODs from Poznań received PLN 200,000 each from the city budget.
- In Jaworzno each ROD received PLN 70,000, in Bytom subsidies were awarded for the first time.
- Investments made with city money will improve the aesthetics, sanitary conditions and safety of the plots.
Poznańskie Rodzinne Ogródy Wszystkich Bożykowe received support from the city budget for the development of garden infrastructure in the total amount of PLN 1 million. This is a record amount compared to other local governments . There are gardens that have gained even 200 thousand.
The beneficiaries are:
- ROD Camping pod Lasem - co-financing for the replacement of water installations - PLN 200,000,
- ROD Pomet - co-financing for the replacement of the electrical network - PLN 200,000,
- ROD im. Piotr Skarga - co-financing for the replacement of the surface of garden paths and modernization of the garden community center - PLN 180,000,
- ROD Wilda - co-financing for the modernization of the playground and replacement of electrical boxes - PLN 200,000,
- Polish Aviation ROD - co-financing for the modernization of the electrical network - PLN 200,000,
- ROD Pod Lipami - co-financing for the renovation of the garden community centre - PLN 20,000.
In Jaworzno , agreements were signed with representatives of seven RODs, which will receive targeted subsidies from the city budget this year. Each of the gardens could apply for a subsidy of up to PLN 70,000 . You can apply for a subsidy once every two years. Applications are verified by employees of several departments of the city office.
A total of PLN 470,000 was allocated, which constitutes 70 percent of the costs of implementing the tasks planned by the RODs. The remaining 30 percent will be the garden associations' own funds.
The gardens will invest in new fences, solar lighting, improvements to water and energy infrastructure, and renovations to the Allotment Houses will be carried out. The alleys, fences, new gates and monitoring will be modernized.
The grants – all in the amount of PLN 70,000 – were awarded to the following gardens:
- ROD Association "Energetyk III",
- The Association of Garden Allotment Gardeners "Warpie",
- Family Garden "Jasmine",
- Garden Association "Jawor",
- Garden Association "Tlenka",
- Polish Union of Allotment Gardeners, Garden Association "Górnik",
- Dr. Karol Rouppert Garden Allotment Gardeners' Association.
The Family Allotment Gardens in Jaworzno cover over 80 hectares of green areas and over 3,100 plots.
Investments in their development are investments in the quality of life of Jaworzno's inhabitants.

In Świdnica all applications were subsidized, in Bytom money for ROD was awarded for the first timeSupport was also given to nine family allotment gardens in Świdnica . This year's city budget allocated PLN 65,000 for this purpose. These funds will enable, among other things, fence repairs, water and power network modernization, as well as improving the aesthetics of common spaces.
The subsidies ranged from PLN 9,000 to PLN 5,000 .

Subsidies will also go to nine Bytom gardens, which will implement investments for a total amount of over PLN 190,000. This is the first edition of the subsidy competition for RODs, because the resolution enabling RODs to apply for funds to implement their projects was adopted by Bytom councilors in 2024.
The highest subsidy (PLN 50,000) was received by the ROD "Pod Wierzbami", thanks to which it will finance the renovation of the roof of the Allotment House. The remaining RODs will receive from PLN 36,500 to PLN 6,000 for their projects.
In Bytom there are 32 allotment gardens associated with the Polish Allotment Gardeners Association.
