Food giant buys green energy from Tauron

- In the first quarter of 2025, Mokate Group companies in Poland purchased over 5,000 MWh of electricity from renewable sources, which allowed them to avoid emissions of over 2,900 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere - Adam Mokrysz, CEO of Mokate, announced on social media.
He added that the green energy came from, among others, wind farms and hydroelectric power plants, and its origin was confirmed by certificates from the Polish Society for Energy Certification (PTCE) – as part of the Tauron Eko Premium product.
Mokate is one of the largest Polish companies in the food industry, its brands include Mokate, Loyd, Minutka, Marila, Marizzi and Babcia Jagoda.
The company operates three production plants – in Ustroń, Żory, and Votice, Czech Republic. Mokate's annual revenues reach nearly PLN 1.5 billion. The group employs approximately 1,500 people.
The share of exports in the group's sales is approximately 60%, and the group's products are sold in nearly 73 countries around the world.
