On April 2, Gaz-System signed an agreement with the general contractor the marine part of the FSRU Program in the Gulf of Gdansk - a consortium consisting of: GAP Insaat Yatirim ve Dis Ticaret AS as leader, Unitek Insaat Sanayi ve Ticaret AS and Fabe Poland.

The consortium will be responsible for preparing the project execution, supply of machinery and equipment and construction of the marine part of the Programme FSRU. These activities include the construction of a berthing and mooring quay with the infrastructure necessary to operate the regasification unit, as well as the construction offshore gas pipeline that will connect the Terminal with the national transmission system.

Dominiak informed that the works on the investment – ​​both on both offshore and onshore – are currently running smoothly. While appeals procedures may have affected the schedule, all the entities involved focus on timely implementation of investments.

The spokeswoman noted that 70 percent of the work on the marine part FSRU will be carried out by Polish companies, including the implementation of specialist projects works and supplies.

Dominiak reported that 28 contracts for deliveries and services necessary for the construction of 250 km of gas pipelines from Gdańsk to Gustorzyn. The company emphasizes that both the onshore part of the FSRU project and most of its marine part will be carried out by Polish contractors and suppliers.
