Zero above the minimum. There's a decision on pension increases in 2026.

Increasing the indexation rate of pensions and disability benefits is the subject of annual negotiations within the Social Dialogue Council.
The government has proposed increasing the indexation rate for pensions and disability benefits from the Social Insurance Fund in 2026 to 20% of the real increase in average wages in 2025.
This would mean - as reported - that next year pensions and disability benefits would increase by at least 4.9%.
Trade unions proposed that this index should be no less than the average annual price index for goods and services in 2025, increased by at least 50 percent of the real increase in average wages in 2025. The employers' proposals, in turn, were closer to those of the government.
During last week's consultations, the Social Dialogue Council failed to reach an agreement on this matter .
According to the regulations, if the RDS does not agree on a proposal to increase the indexation rate within the statutory deadline, then within 21 days of the end of negotiations, taking into account information on forecasted macroeconomic values, including the inflation rate, which constitute the basis for the preparation of the draft budget act for the following year, the Council of Ministers shall make a decision by way of a regulation .
Pension benefits paid by ZUS are indexed every year.
Pursuant to the Act on Pensions and Disability Pensions from the Social Insurance Fund, indexation is based on:
- the average annual consumer price index for households of retirees and pensioners, which amounted to 103.6% in 2024, and,
- real increase in the average salary, which reached 9.5 percent.
From 1 March 2025, the minimum pension, disability pension, survivor's pension, and social pension are PLN 1,878.91. The minimum pension for partial disability is PLN 1,409.18.
Karol Nawrocki made a campaign promise to pensionersIn his election program, President-elect Karol Nawrocki included a promise that on August 6, 2025 (the day he takes office as president) he will submit to the Sejm a bill providing that, as part of the indexation of pensions, benefits will always increase by at least PLN 150, and the indexation rate will always be higher than the inflation rate .
Infor explains that taking into account the realities of this year's indexation of pensions and disability benefits, this would mean that the amount of the lowest pension, disability pension, social pension and survivor's pension would increase not to PLN 1,878.91, but to PLN 1,930.96 .
Importantly, the higher the pension, disability pension, social pension or survivor's pension, the lower the increase (subject to the minimum indexation amount of PLN 150) would be - explains Infor.pl.
