A Polish billionaire has bought his own island in the Seychelles. He has ambitious plans.

Józef Wojciechowski, owner of Poland's largest real estate development company, JW Construction Holding, revealed in an interview with Forbes that he bought an island in the Seychelles. Why?
For years, the Seychelles have attracted many luxury tourists with their beauty, white sandy beaches , and turquoise waters . But the archipelago also attracts entrepreneurs , including our fellow countrymen.
As Józef Wojciechowski revealed in an interview with Forbes , he managed to win the tender for… the development of the new island.
The owner of the JW Construction Holding development company apparently grew tired of building more and more apartments in Poland and set his sights on a slightly more ambitious goal. Besides, as he himself stated in the aforementioned interview… property prices in Warsaw are up to twice as high as in the Seychelles .

Okay, but what can we expect from the "Polish island in the Seychelles" ? Wojciechowski announces the construction of a boutique hotel and a thousand apartments .
"We will, of course, add the entire infrastructure, including a marina , restaurants , swimming pools , and recreational areas . We have a 99-year perpetual lease, which, under the circumstances, means ownership," Józef Wojciechowski said in an interview with Forbes .

As one of the wealthiest Poles admits, he loves vacationing in this corner of the world. So much so, that he even planned to build a house by the ocean. The coronavirus pandemic put the idea on hold, and sometimes even scrapped it altogether.
Józef Wojciechowski: "They are reluctant to give permission to build new hotels"The Seychelles, however, still tempted, and Wojciechowski thought he could build a hotel on one of the islands.
"They're generally very reluctant to grant permission to build new hotels because they're not targeting mass tourism. But they offered me the opportunity to buy an entire new island and build a hotel and apartments there," we read in the interview.
This all sounds like quite a challenge. Especially since, according to the contract, Józef Wojciechowski has 12 years to complete the project, and half of the investment is to be completed by 2033. Good organization and mobilization are key!
We wish you good luck!
