The organizers of Tuesday's event include the producers of the film "The Awakening," which found a distributor in Cannes. Spacey is one of its stars. This time, it's a more ambitious production than those Spacey has recently appeared in. He is joined by Peter Stormare, Alice Eve, and Julian Glover . Tuesday's event and Spacey's stay in Cannes will have nothing to do with the film festival currently taking place in Cannes, although the creators of "The Awakening" hope to promote their production at the expense of the legendary event. Spacey, 65, has had his career derailed after being accused of sex crimes.
