"Election miracles" in the committees. Rafał Trzaskowski's votes were attributed to Karol Nawrocki

- In Kraków and Mińsk Mazowiecki there was a serious mistake in the electoral commissions.
- Although Rafał Trzaskowski was the clear winner in specific locations, the committees attributed his votes to Karol Nawrocki.
- Prime Minister Donald Tusk warns against top-down assumptions about election fraud.
- Each reported case of irregularities in vote counting is checked and analyzed. Possible frauds are investigated and will be punished. The protests will go to the Supreme Court. I understand the emotions, but assuming in advance that the elections were rigged does not serve the Polish state - the Prime Minister emphasized in a post on the X portal.
Sudden change in support and "electoral miracles" in electoral commissionsIn the district electoral commission no. 95 on ul. Stawowa in Kraków, votes cast in the second round of the presidential election for Karol Nawrocki and Rafał Trzaskowski were assigned reversely.
According to the National Electoral Commission, Trzaskowski won the first round, receiving 550 votes, followed by Sławomir Mentzen with 221 votes, and Karol Nawrocki, who was supported by 218 voters. After voting in the second round, the commission reported that Nawrocki received the most votes - 1,132, while Trzaskowski received 540. Local media called it an "electoral miracle" and pointed to the doubts raised by the sudden change in support.
As reported by the electoral commissioner in Kraków, Rafał Sobczuk, representatives of the district commission reported the mistake to the city office and the district commission, which is conducting an investigation into the matter.
Marcin Jakubowski, the mayor of Mińsk Mazowiecki, reported a similar case. As he wrote on social media, one of the commissions incorrectly reported the election result in the protocol. The document attributed the votes "the other way around" - although in fact Rafał Trzaskowski won, his votes were attributed to Karol Nawrocki.
Out of 9 people working in the electoral commission, no one reported any irregularities
- noted Marcin Jakubowski.
A 200% increase in support for one candidate must raise doubtsCommenting on reports of a "significant increase" in support for Karol Nawrocki compared to the first round in some district committees, Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Central Election Commission Krzysztof Gawkowski said on Friday that he hoped that the matter would be clarified.
- It is important that we know why there was sometimes a 200 percent increase for one candidate in one committee, since even from a mathematical perspective it seems quite improbable - he said on Friday.
The Supreme Court announced that 21 electoral protests against the presidential election have been filed so far.
