The match was still even, although it was the team from Sopot who had the initiative in attack - after a shot by Aaron Best, the difference was again five points. Ryan Taylor and Justin Taylor reduced the deficit, but after 10 minutes it was 18:19. In the second quarter, PJ Pipes put his team in the lead with free throws. However, Nick Johnson quickly equalized the score. After a while, Aaron Best gave Trefl the advantage. One thing did not change - the situation was still extremely even. Finally, Luke Nelson set the score after the first half at 39:37.
Right after the break, coach Żan Tabak's team recorded a series of 0:15 and after a goal by Marcus Weathers and free throws by Nick Johnson, they were already better by 13 points! Only after more than four minutes did DJ Funderburk break the hosts' weakness. However, the Włocławek team still could not really get back into the game. The visitors led by a maximum of 19 points, although Luke Petrasek and Michał Michalak tried to reduce it with free throws. After 30 minutes, the score was 54:67. In the fourth quarter, coach Selcuk Ernak's team did not intend to give up and kept fighting for a favorable result for themselves. However, Aaron Best was still great, maintaining a safe distance. About three minutes before the end, Jakub Schenk gave the Sopot team an 11-point advantage. Anwil was not able to make up for this. Eventually, Trefl won 82:73 and won the bronze medals of the ORLEN Basket League.
