In the District Football League, the penultimate 29th round of matches was played, and there was no shortage of interesting matches.
In Group 1, Jeziorak Załom confidently defeated Masovia Maszewo 8:2 away, with goals scored by: Miłosz Magdziak (3), Maciej Ciszewski (2), Dawid Kapczyński, Jacek Chodorowski and Szymon Jakubowski.
- The match went according to plan and we quickly opened the scoring - said Michał Kowalczyk, Jeziorak's coach, after the victory. - We were effective and I could use all the reserve players. We are happy with the victory and we are already preparing for the last match with Mewa Resko.
The Kasta Żaki Szczecin Football Academy lost away to Rega Trzebiatów, fighting for promotion to the 4th league, 2:3. At half-time the score was 1:1, and both goals were scored from corner kicks and headers. After the break, Rega scored two goals, and the guests responded with only one goal. The match was played in heavy rain. For the hosts, goals were scored by: Damian Jaśnikowski (2) and Mateusz Czapłygin, and for the visitors by: Paweł Pytelewski and Andrzej Motyl.
In Group 2, Hutnik Szczecin lost away to Odra Chojna 2:5, with Alan Dłubisz scoring two goals for the visitors. For the home team, Łukasz Głowacki, Miłosz Wujko, Jakub Buckowski, Wiktor Dul and Marcin Kukuć scored.
- The pitch was one big puddle, but despite that, we tried to play football and create situations - said Marcin Lis, Hutnik's coach, after the match. - After mistakes in defense, we were losing 1:3 at half-time. In the second half, we wanted to catch up, but after a counterattack we conceded the fourth goal. We scored the second goal, and then we had two more hundred percent chances that we didn't use. In added time, after another counterattack, the opponent scored the fifth goal.
Stal Szczecin won at home against Rurzyca Nawodna 2:0 and will play in the play-offs for promotion to the 4th league, with goals scored late in the match by: Tomasz Cydzik and Oskar Potoczny (penalty kick).
Świt II Szczecin won away against Energetyk Gryfino 5:3, and scored three goals in the last ten minutes. The goals for the leader of the competition were scored by: Krzysztof Filipowicz (4) and Paweł Aniołkowski. For the hosts, Aron Sękowski completed a hat-trick. It was the 26th victory of the team from northern Szczecin.
- It was a very exciting match, in which we were imprecise in the positional attack and often lost the ball - said Tomasz Brzozowski, Świt's coach, after the match. - After a counterattack we lost a goal, and after a set piece another one and we lost 0:2. In the first half an Energetyk player received a red card, and we found our rhythm and after a penalty kick we made contact. In the second half we lost a player and Grzegorz Szczepanik received a red card. We scored a goal for 2:2, and then Filipowicz hit the post. The hosts scored the third goal after another counterattack. In the end we closed this match with experience and calmness.
