Thus, the Granatowo-Bordowi are still in the game for the third place in the table, which gives a ticket to the European cups.

The match was postponed due to the Polish Cup final match, in which Pogoń played against Legia (3:4), while the other teams were playing their regular round.
In Pogoń, the 23-year-old FC Sao Paulo graduate, Luizao, acquired from West Ham United in the winter, played for his home crowd for the first time. He took advantage of the fact that his compatriot Leo Borges received a red card in Niepołomice and was suspended for three matches. Luizao, together with Danjel Loncar, formed a pair of central defenders.
In the 15th minute, Koulouris almost scored his 26th goal of the season when he received a pass from Grosicki on the left wing, but the ball bounced off his touch and his shot lacked the power to beat Gasper Tratnik.
Then, for most of the time, the game was played mainly in the middle of the pitch. Pogoń tried offensive actions, but the Lublin defenders effectively broke them up. Until the 43rd minute. Then Grosicki received the ball on the left wing, just on the edge of the penalty area, and took advantage of Tratnik's mistake, who went far from his own goal. The former Polish international gave the hosts the lead with a technical lob.
Motor coach Mateusz Stolarski probably sensitized his players to the fact that Pogoń has problems with concentration in the first minutes of the game and immediately after it was resumed after breaks. Therefore, the guests started to move forward from the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Michał Król shot from 16 meters and Valentin Cojocaru was forced to intervene for the first time.
Five minutes later, Grosicki beat Tratnik for the second time with an unsignaled long-range shot. After this goal, Pogoń definitely gained confidence. In the 60th minute, Grosicki came close to completing a hat trick, but his next long-range shot was parried by the Motor goalkeeper for a corner. A moment later, "Grosik" and Koulouris exchanged several passes and had fun in the penalty area with the visiting defenders. This time, the Greek's shot was saved by the Slovenian.
From the beginning of the match it was clear that Pogoń was playing for the Greek, so that the leader of the scoring classification could increase his goal account. Finally, in the 76th minute, "Kulu" received an accurate pass from Kacper Łukasiak and with a shot from 13 meters into the far corner increased the score to 3:0 and increased his goal account to 26 goals.
He didn't score again, because four minutes later Robert Kolendowicz took him off the pitch. Grosicki had also left the pitch earlier. Rafał Kurzawa left with the Greek, and the first substitute was Fredrik Ulvestad. All of Pogoń's leaders will be needed by Kolendowicz on Saturday in the match with Lechia Gdańsk, because then a victory would extend the Portowcy's chances of competing with Jagiellonia Białystok for third place at the end of the season.
After the delayed match they said:Mateusz Stolarski (Motor coach) : "A well-deserved victory for Pogoń. They created more situations and used them. Very high quality in the goals scored by Kamil Grosicki and Efthymis Koulouris – especially in terms of receiving the ball.
- We are losing our third match in a row. We are not in a good moment. I have been in the club for three years, we have experienced two promotions. Some of the players are still playing in Motor. They are doing everything to end this season well. We are not creating many situations, but one like Samuel Mraz's one-on-one with the score at 0:0 should be used to gain self-confidence. On Saturday we really want to win at home, so that this good season does not end on such a weak note".
Robert Kolendowicz (Pogoń coach) : "Today we showed great quality and strength. For most of the match we controlled the match. Good motor skills, intensity, aggression. Excellent Kamil Grosicki. We already have more points today than last season and that is why I think we have achieved success. However, we are not stopping and we want more victories. I took the team leaders off the pitch when we had the match under control. Partly because they will be needed for the match with Lechia Gdańsk, but also because I wanted to see how the young substitutes would play. I am also pleased with the game with Luizao. He played well in Radom, and today he confirmed his skills".
