Great match of the Polish women in the Nations League. Now they have a break
Before the meeting with the Belgians, the Polish team lost 2:3 to the Turkish team. Earlier, the Polish team defeated Thailand and China. Stefano Lavarini's team caused quite a surprise by defeating the Chinese team in four sets, which also gave them a historic promotion to third place in the FIVB ranking. However, the Turkish team pushed them off the podium after winning. On Sunday, the Polish team forgot about Saturday's defeat.
Lavarini's volleyball players started the clash with the Belgians with a strong attack and won the set 25:11. In the second set, their rivals scored 15 points, and the third set turned out to be the most fierce. The Poles won with a lead of 27:25.
Thanks to the victory, the White and Reds gained three points to the table and now have 10 "points". This gives them the lead, but the other rivals have not played their fourth match yet.
Now the Polish team has a 10-day break. Their next match will be on June 18 against the Netherlands.
On Wednesday, June 11, the men enter the game, also playing against the Netherlands. Then, before a 10-day break, they will face Japan, Turkey and Serbia.
