Second, 0.1 seconds behind, is Italian Andrea Mabellini, with Estonian Martins Seesks (both Skoda Fabia RS Rally2) third, 0.2 seconds behind.

Fourth place is occupied by the leader of the ERC European Championship, Finn Roope Korhonen (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2), who covered the route at Tor Mikołajki 0.4 seconds slower than Marczyk.

The Masurian gravel is also an arena for fighting for Polish championship points. In the third round of the national championship, the country's top competitors are competing, with the RSMP leader Jakub Matulka, as well as Jarosław Szeja, Grzegorz Grzyb, Jakub Brzeziński, Jarosław Kołtun, Zbigniew Gabryś and Łukasz Byśkiniewicz.

The legendary co-driver Maciej Wisławski, a veteran of rally tracks, European champion and vice-champion, and two-time Polish champion, was also present at the start. For former co-driver Krzysztof Hołowczyc, this is a record-breaking 30th start in the Rally Poland.

The route of the 81st edition is over 190 km long, divided into 14 special gravel stages.

On Saturday and Sunday, fans will be able to take part in 13 sports trials and five service zones. The organizers appeal to fans to support safely, so that problems do not cause the need to cancel special stages.
