The Polish international has been forced out of the club. They no longer want him.
Bielik joined Birmingham City in 2022 and immediately became a key member of the team. After relegation to League One, he remained loyal to the club, even wearing the captain's armband and regularly playing 90 minutes. However, his situation began to change in January 2025 – the midfielder lost his place in the squad, and the team eventually managed to do without him and return to the Championship.
The club's management has made no secret of their willingness to part ways with the Polish international. Although Bielik's contract runs until 2027, he earns around £20,000 per week, making him one of the highest-paid players. For a club struggling financially after relegation to League One, this represents a significant burden. Therefore, the Blues are open to offers, even if it means selling at a discount.
Playing in the third tier of football in England isn't befitting a player who wants to return to the Polish national team. Czesław Michniewicz already pointed this out to him when he was manager of the Polish national team. However, the injury-prone Bielik will have a hard time finding a better club. The Pole finds himself in a stalemate.
