The Union has taken a different direction. They are hardening themselves in winter conditions
Not sunny Spain, but snowy Jakuszyce – this is what this year's Unia Leszno training camp looks like. The relegated team from PGE Ekstraliga will stay in the town located right next to the Polish-Czech border until Friday, February 28.
- After several years of trips to the Iberian Peninsula, the training staff, together with the players, decided to go to the Polish mountains before this year's season - explained the spokesman of the club from Leszno, Rafał Dobrowolski, in an interview with the official PGE Ekstraliga portal.
What does the class schedule look like during the training camp?
- The schedule of classes is carefully filled. The players will train in the gym, and individual training sessions will be interspersed with downhill and cross-country skiing. Additionally, in the Lower Silesian Sports Center, where we are stationed, we have great infrastructure and biological regeneration at our disposal. An important part of such a training camp is, of course, the integration of the group and spending time together - said Dobrowolski.
Then onto the trackAfter returning from Jakuszyce, the Leszno riders will be looking forward to the opportunity to ride on the track. The Unia facility is already being prepared for the first training rides. If nothing stands in the way, the motorcycles should roar on Smoczyk in the first half of March.
