Volleyball knockout in Wrocław. This could decide the play-offs!

Volley Wrocław lost 0:3 to Lotto Chemik Police in the 19th round of the TAURON Liga volleyball. Dominika Pierzchała was chosen MVP of the match. Both teams are still fighting for a place in the play-off phase.

From the very beginning, the match promised to be an even fight between two teams, still fighting to stay in the top eight, which guarantees a place in the play-off phase. However, the players from Polianka started much better, especially Julia Orzoł, who showed no mercy on the wing. At one point, the scoreboard showed the score of 13:22, but the players from Wrocław returned to the game. Ultimately, it was Julia Hewelt who ended the first set with an attack for 17:25.

In the second set, Volley Wrocław gained the advantage, but quickly lost it. From 14:9, the Politburo team managed to bring the score to 16:16 after Hewelt's attack. The Wrocław team made mistakes in the attack, and Chemik had no mercy. After a successful block, the score was 18:25.

The third set was the most intense, with the score remaining equal for a long time. The Wrocław team returned to the game after a weaker opening part of the set and had many opportunities to stay in the game. However, Dominika Pierzchała was the star of the net several times and after the set ended with the score of 20:25, she took the MVP award.
