'The Journey': After a fight, Diná makes a decision about Téo

A Viagem was originally shown on the now-defunct Rede Tupi. Ivan Ribeiro wrote the soap opera based on the books Nosso Lar (1944) and E a Vida Continua (1968), which were psychographed by the Brazilian medium Chico Xavier, with authorship attributed to the spirit André Luiz. The production also had the collaboration of Professor Herculano Pires, considered one of the greatest writers and scholars of the Spiritist doctrine.

In the next chapters of A Viagem, Teo ( Maurício Mattar ) and Diná ( Christiane Torloni ) argue and she leaves. Zeca ( Irving São Paulo ), Lisa's ( Andrea Beltrão ) brother, returns from his trip. At home, Diná apologizes to Téo. The two reconcile. Zeca reveals to Lisa and Agenor ( John Hebert ) that all the money he earned from his work was stolen. Diná and Téo go out dancing and she has another fit of jealousy.

Lisa tells Carmem ( Suzy Rêgo ) that she is going to run away with Alexandre ( Guilherme Fontes ). Téo goes to the police station to talk to Alexandre, but he doesn't want to see his brother-in-law. Lisa parks the motorcycle in front of the police station. Téo sees the motorcycle and becomes suspicious. Alexandre, anxious, paces back and forth in the cell. Diná looks for her brother's girlfriend. Lisa, nervous, stays near the motorcycle, while Alexandre gets ready and grabs the revolver.
