At least 46 dead after military plane crashes in residential area of ​​Sudan

At least 46 people, including military personnel and civilians, have died after a military plane crashed in the city of Omdurman, Sudan. The accident, which occurred on Tuesday, also left 10 people injured, government officials told the Associated Press on Wednesday.

The plane, an Antonov, crashed on take-off from Wadi Sayidna air base, north of Omdurman, the sister city of the capital, Khartoum.
