Daniela Ruah: “I avoid going on social media because I don’t want to feel angry all the time.”

At 41 years old, mother of two young children and married to a television and film stuntman who dedicates much of his time to a security door company, Daniela Ruah is increasingly focusing on directing, alongside her acting career that began in her adolescence with the soap opera Jardins Proibidos.

Between 2009 and 2023, she played Kensi Blye in 320 episodes of Crime Scene Investigation: Los Angeles, half a dozen of them also behind the camera. In between, she found time to appear in a few more series and films (she played an Italian in George Lucas's Red Tails Squad) and to host television shows (she made her debut on TVI's Cinebox). She has always divided her time between the US and Portugal, where we recently saw her in seven episodes of Rabo de Peixe.
