Feirense thrashes Portimonense in the second round of the II League

Feirense beat Portimonense 4-1 on Friday, in the opening game of the second round of the Portuguese II Football League, played at the Marcolino de Castro Stadium, in Santa Maria da Feira.
Despite a balanced start to the game, Portimonense, who were coming off a win over Penafiel, took advantage of a poor clearance from Feirense's defense, with João Reis following up a rebound with a shot from the edge of the six-yard box, opening the scoring (12th minute).
Feirense ended up equalizing close to half-time (44), with Gabriel Costa heading the ball to the near post, following a corner.
Ricardo Costa's team turned the score around in the final minutes, after a persistent move in which Gui Meira shot powerfully from the heart of the area, in the 86th minute.
In injury time, Nile John scored twice and sealed Feirense's victory, first with a penalty (90+6) that punished Camilo Durán's foul, and then with a powerful shot from the edge of the box (90+8).
