Guinea-Bissau and Russia sign several bilateral agreements

The signing of the agreements took place within the framework of the state visit of the President of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embaló, to the Russian Federation. A meeting between the two presidents is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday.

Guinea-Bissau and the Russian Federation signed, this Tuesday, in Moscow, several cooperation instruments in the areas of economy, education and natural resources.
The signing of the agreements took place as part of the state visit of the President of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embaló, to Moscow, one day before the meeting between the two presidents.
The Guinean delegation also included the Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Integration, Soares Sambú, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Communities, Carlos Pinto Pereira, and the Minister of Education, Malam Sambú.
Umaro Sissoco Embaló will meet with Vladimir Putin on Wednesday, according to information confirmed by the Guinean presidency's office to Jornal Económico (JE).
