Portuguese and Lusophone music festival expects 30,000 people per day.
One renovated venue and new stages mark the 10th edition of the O Sol da festival Caparica, which starts this Thursday, August 14, in Costa da Caparica, in Almada, with 37 artists guests and the expectation of receiving 30 thousand people per day – double the number was achieved last year. According to André Sardet, promoter of this Portuguese and Lusophone music event, with Da Weasel, Plutonium, Dillaz, David Carreira, Nininho Vaz Maia, Matias Damásio and Lon3r Johny, among others, this edition “offers the best lineup ever.” Besides of music – and the traditional Children’s Day (which takes place on Sunday, with activities for the whole family between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm) – this year, and the new title, there will be the Digital Stage, designed for the new generation. Among others guests, the duo Os Primos – known for making videos on YouTube criticizing celebrities.
THE practical level, the festival runs until Sunday, August 17, at Parque Urbano da Costa da Caparica, and throughout the 30 thousand square meters of the site are arranged six bathroom blocks, more than 35 food options and almost 20 bar areas. The venue doors open at 4:00 p.m. (except on Sundays), the ticket daily pass costs 23 euros, the two-day pass costs 42 euros and the pass General admission for the four days is available for 68 euros.
