PCP prepares Algarve excursions to the Avante Festival 2025

As always, in addition to the varied and high-quality musical component, the Avante Festival program will also include theater, visual arts, literature, science, and activities for children. The gastronomic diversity and various displays of elements of the cultural richness of the country's regions will be highlighted throughout the three-day event.

To get to the Festival, the organization provides excursions departing from the Algarve, which depart on Friday, September 6, from the bus terminals of Vila Real de Santo António (1:00 pm), Tavira (1:30 pm), Lagos (2:15 pm), Portimão (2:45 pm), Albufeira (3:15 pm), Lagoa (3:15 pm), Silves (3:30 pm) and Messines (3:45 pm). In Olhão, departing at the stop on the EN 125 (next to Conforama) (2:00 pm) and in Faro next to the Teatro das Figuras (2:30 pm).

On Saturday and Sunday, buses leave from Vila Real de Santo António (5:00 am), Tavira (5:30 am), Olhão (6:00 am), Lagos (6:15 am), Faro (6:25 am), Portimão (6:45 am), Albufeira, in Vale Paraíso (7:00 am), Lagoa (7:00 am), Silves (7:15 am) and Messines (7:30 am).

Accommodation during the Festival is also guaranteed, at a hotel for three days, with check-in on Friday and check-out on Sunday, or for two days, with check-in on Saturday and check-out on Sunday. Tours return on Sunday at 11 p.m., meeting at the Algarve Pavilion.

Once again, the Festival Visitor Support Camp will also be available. Located on the grounds near the Festival, it's the perfect option for those opting for camping or caravanning. However, advance registration is required on the event website .

Over its 48 previous editions, the Festa do Avante has distinguished itself by its political and cultural dimension, but also by its human dimension, of conviviality, fraternity and camaraderie and by the appreciation of arts, culture, entertainment and sport.

The Avante Festival thus aims to establish itself as an element of trust in the fight to build a Portugal with a Future, based on the values of April.
