Regina Duarte gives her opinion on the new version of Vale Tudo; check it out

Globo is already counting down to the premiere of the remake of Vale Tudo , the network's next 9pm soap opera, one of the greatest classics in the history of Brazilian television drama. The first version of the work starred Regina Duarte (78). In an interview with CARAS Brasil , she recalls this project in her career and gives her opinion on the adaptation.

In the first version of Vale Tudo , Regina Duarte was responsible for bringing to life Raquel Accioli, the main protagonist of the soap opera. The character is a hard-working and honest woman, who disagrees with her daughter Maria de Fátima Accioli (Glória Pires) on whether or not it is possible to be very successful and, at the same time, honest in Brazil.

Regina Duarte, without going into too much detail, emphasizes that she is rooting for the remake to be a success and confesses what her expectations are for this new version of the classic television drama. "I like Vale Tudo so much that I wish this [version] great, monumental success," the actress declared in an interview with CARAS Brasil .

In the remake of the soap opera, Taís Araújo (46) is responsible for playing Raquel Accioli. Vale Tudo was originally written by Gilberto Braga , Aguinaldo Silva and Leonor Bassères . Now, the adaptation is written by the author Manuela Dias (47).

On February 5th, Regina Duarte turned 78. She highlights the transformations in her life and says about this new phase: "Great! I'm very happy, the woman I've become is worth all the lessons I've learned so far. I'm a hard worker who's been lucky enough to always love everything I've been asked to do, to interpret", concludes actress Regina.
