Seven aerial resources and 153 operational personnel fight fire in S. Cibrão
According to the Civil Protection website, at 3:52 pm, 153 personnel were being mobilized to the site, supported by 37 personnel and seven aerial resources.
It should be remembered that, from this Sunday until Thursday, Portugal will be on alert due to the high risk of fires in the coming days, the Minister of Internal Administration announced today.
"Given worsening weather forecasts that point to a significant risk of rural fires, the Government has decided to declare a state of alert across the entire mainland," announced Maria Lúcia Amaral.
The alert situation comes into effect at 00:00 on Sunday and lasts until 23:59 on Thursday, August 7th.
