Two tourists found dead in a swimming pool in Albufeira

Two foreign tourists were found dead this morning in a swimming pool in Albufeira, Algarve, with authorities suspecting it was a case of excessive alcohol consumption, a source from the Judicial Police ( PJ ) told Lusa.

According to the same source, there is no suspicion that any crime was committed, and everything indicates that excessive alcohol consumption was the cause of the death of the two men.

The Judiciary Police were present at the scene and will now interview witnesses before reaching a conclusion about what really happened, according to the source.
