Valéria Shorubalko pursues her dream of winning Miss Teen Portugal

The young Valéria Shorubalko, from Cacia, Aveiro, stands out once again by being selected as a finalist in the Miss Teen Portugal 2025 competition. The national final will take place between the 9th and 13th of August, in Castro Daire.

After securing a prominent place in the district stage, Miss Aveiro 2025, integrated in the National Beauty Contest (CNB Portugal), Valéria decided to return to the competition where she has already left her mark.

Last year, she proudly represented the district of Aveiro and came fourth at national level, being awarded the title of Third Lady. Motivated by her dreams and determined to go even further, Valéria Shorubalko returns this year with renewed ambition and competitive spirit, ready to give her best and fight once again for the national title.

At just 18 years old, Valéria tells Diário de Aveiro that the desire to return arose immediately after the 2024 edition. “I had a very positive experience. As soon as I found out the result, I decided I wanted to return. But this time, I'm coming back with more strength and focus on the crown”, she says with conviction.

The passion for the competition was born in a family environment where persistence is a rule of life. “We are a determined family, who never give up on our dreams. Everyone supports me, and they knew from the beginning that I would try again”, she emphasizes.

Despite some initial expectations regarding the competitive environment, Valéria emphasizes that the experience was enriching and full of camaraderie. “I thought it would be an aggressive environment, but I found sincere friendships and a support network among all the competitors. That made everything even more special,” she highlighted.
