Beyoncé’s Daughter Rumi Carter Celebrates Her 8th Birthday Onstage at the Cowboy Carter Tour

Beyoncé’s Daughter Rumi Carter Celebrates Her 8th Birthday Onstage at the Cowboy Carter Tour
preview for "Everything is Love" for Beyoncé and Jay-Z

Beyoncé’s Gemini twins, Rumi and Sir Carter, are celebrating a new milestone.

The pop star’s two youngest children turn 8 today, and to celebrate, she wished them a happy birthday at last night’s Cowboy Carter Tour stop in London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. During the performance of “Protector,” the segment of the show where Rumi joins her mom and sister Blue Ivy onstage, Beyoncé told screaming fans, “Everybody say Happy Birthday, Rumi.”

In a video posted on X, Blue, 13, is seen cradling Rumi’s chin as the crowd screams. “Say happy birthday, Sir,” Beyoncé continued. “Mommy loves you!” Rumi then turned around and gave her mom a big hug.

In a recent rare interview with GQ, Beyoncé opened up about being a mom of three. “Raising three kids isn’t easy,” she said. “The older they get, the more they become their own individuals with unique needs, hobbies, and social lives. My twins are God-sent. Parenting constantly teaches you about yourself. It takes a lot of prayer and patience. I love it. It’s grounding and fulfilling.”

She added, “My kids come with me everywhere I go. They come to my office after school, and they are in the studio with me. They are in dance rehearsals. It’s natural that they would learn my choreography.”

Mrs. Carter and her daughters will perform in London again tomorrow and Monday night before heading to Paris on June 19. There’s still time to get tickets. Click here for more.
