International dance company opens auditions in Brazil

The EurAsia Auditions On Tour has announced the opening of calls in Brazil to select new students. The audition will take place on June 22nd at the Braz Cubas Municipal Theater, in Santos (SP) and will select contemporary dancers between 17 and 29 years old.
During the auditions, Italian Stefano Fardelli, director of the EurAsia Dance Project International Network, will select dancers to enter a three-year professional program in contemporary dance, with internationally recognized diplomas. After completion, those approved will be able to complete a master's degree in the fourth year, at one of the partner academies in Europe.
"All those selected will officially become EurAsia Students, receiving a 30%, 50% or 60% scholarship valid for the three years of the program. In addition, after graduation, students will be entitled to another scholarship for the master's year, becoming EurAsia Dancers, professional dancers," says a note from the initiative, which has the support of the Italian Institute of Culture of São Paulo (IIC/SP) and collaboration with the Santos International Dance Festival (Fidifest) for the audition.
In addition to the auditions and workshop, the dance company will also bring the show "Svarupa-Vyakta" to Brazil. The performance, which has already toured five continents, will be presented at the IIC/SP headquarters on July 3, at 7 pm, followed by a debate on the work that Fardelli brings to the world through the EurAsia Dance Project International Network and the EurAsia Dance Company (EDC).
