Lagoa marks 25 years of Gastronomy as Cultural Heritage with a digital campaign

Lagoa City Council is joining the celebrations of 25 years of Gastronomy as a Cultural Heritage of Portugal with a digital campaign focused on promoting traditional gastronomy, with a special focus on the culinary heritage of the Algarve.
The goal is to involve the community, including partners, associations, restaurants, and the general public, in a participatory challenge that promotes the recording, sharing, and appreciation of traditional recipes, accompanied by stories, memories, or personal curiosities.
The 25 most authentic and representative recipes will be selected to be included in a special publication, which will celebrate the richness and diversity of Portuguese gastronomy.
Participation in this Lagos campaign began on July 26th and runs until August 26th, by filling out an online form, available here.
"This campaign aims to promote cultural and intergenerational engagement around Portuguese food heritage," says the Lagoa municipality.
