Lagos: Holiday Music Courses return with musicians from the Algarve Orchestra

João Castro (violin), Mikhail Shumov (cello) and Dércio Fernandes (double bass) are this year's guest musicians.

The courses will take place at the Lagos Conservatory of Music and Arts and include masterclasses led by these performers linked to some of the main national orchestras, such as the Orquestra do Algarve and the Orquestra Clássica de Espinho .

In addition to the training aspect, the program includes two moments open to the public: the teachers' recital, on July 17th, at 9:00 pm, and the Final Students' Concert, on July 19th, at 6:00 pm.

Both concerts take place at the Church of Nossa Senhora do Carmo, also known as the Church of the Nuns, in Lagos , with free entry.

The organization highlights the importance of this initiative as a platform of excellence for the artistic development of young musicians, promoting close contact with leading professionals.
