LANCE promotes Spring Festival

LANCE - League of Friends and Natives of Couto de Esteves, in the municipality of Sever do Vouga, promotes another edition of the Spring Festival on June 14th. The programme opens with the “Discovering the Territory” walk, which gathers at 9.30 am and departs at 10 am at the square in front of the main church in Couto de Esteves. After lunch at the O Júnior restaurant (subject to prior registration), a talk will be held (4 pm) at the LANCE headquarters, in the village’s former primary school, where Helena Freitas, professor of Biodiversity and Ecology at the University of Coimbra, will speak about “Valuing the territory with nature-based solutions”. The Spring Festival continues with the award ceremony for the best secondary school student and ends with the Exchange and Bargain Fair, at the Cooperative on Rua do Pelourinho, with a repeat the following day.
