Nuno Guerreiro honored in Loulé in concert with more than 30 artists

The show, scheduled for 9:00 pm at the Monument to Engineer Duarte Pacheco, will bring together, among others, musicians Manuel Paulo and João Gil (Ala dos Namorados), Dino D'Santiago, Hélder Moutinho, Luanda Cozetti, Nancy Vieira, Olavo Bilac (Santos & Pecadores), Os Mau Feitio, Rita Red Shoes, Shout and Viviane (Entre Aspas).
"It will be an emotional and unforgettable celebration, worthy of the man and artist who gave so much to Portuguese music. On this unique night of tribute to Nuno Guerreiro, thirty-five artists will take the stage for a truly memorable moment," said the Faro district council in a statement.
The lead singer of Ala dos Namorados, who collaborated with Cineteatro Louletano in the production area, died on April 17, at the age of 52, in a hospital in Lisbon.
Born in Loulé in 1972, the city where he lived before his death, Nuno Guerreiro became popular in the 1990s as the lead singer of that group, responsible for songs such as 'Solta-se o beijo', 'Fim do mundo' and 'Loucos de Lisboa'.
Also on stage will be the musicians Dani Silva, Miguel Moura and Tozé Santos (Perfume), in addition to Mário Delgado (guitar), António Viegas (guitar), Zé Nabo (bass), Alexandre Frazão (drums), Rúben da Luz (trombone), Manuel Paulo (piano), Ricardo Parreira (Portuguese guitar), João Filipe (fado guitar) and Ciro Bertini (bass).
