Paulo Gonzo headlines the Vagos Municipal Festivities

The Vagos Municipal Festivities, which will take place between the 6th and 10th of June, feature a diverse programme that promises to liven up the town of Vagos with music, moments that aim to preserve local tradition and also the usual religious events. The highlight of the event will undoubtedly be the concert by Paulo Gonzo, a singer who will take to the stage on Sunday the 8th at Quinta do Ega. The renowned Portuguese singer, known for hits such as “Sei-te de Cor” and “Jardins Proibidos”, will perform on the eve of the Municipal Day, ending with a pyromusical show. The musical lineup kicks off on Thursday, the 6th, with a concert by tribute band Hold The Line, followed by DJ Joni Santos. On Saturday, the 7th, it will be the turn of Meninos da Sacristia and the “Smell Like 90s” party, with DJ Nadja. On Monday, Municipal Day, the highlight will be the symphonic and fado show, with Banda Vaguense, Armindo Fernandes, Carolina Pessoa and Verónica Silva, after the traditional candlelight procession. The festivities end on Tuesday, the 10th, with the presentation of the João Grave Literary Prize and the now traditional sardine feast, hosted by Ricardo Silva.
