The Divine Comedy returns to Portugal in March

The band The Divine Comedy will return to Portugal for concerts in Lisbon and Porto in March next year, the promoter announced today.

In a statement, the promoter announced that the concerts – integrated in the presentation of the album “Rainy Sunday Afternoon” – will take place at Aula Magna, in Lisbon, on March 8, 2026, and at Casa da Música, the following day.

“Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, the new album was written, produced and arranged by Neil Hannon, best known as the songwriter and driving force behind The Divine Comedy,” said promoter House of Fun.

Having visited Portugal multiple times throughout their decades-long career, The Divine Comedy were born in 1989 in Northern Ireland and have already won multiple awards, having released albums such as "Promenade", "Fin de Siècle" or "Regeneration", among others.
