European Council debates wars in Ukraine and the Middle East

The two-day European Council meeting has begun, with a focus on geo-economic challenges and developments in Ukraine and the Middle East . European leaders will also discuss European defence and security, migration, preparedness and internal security.

CMVM conference presents study on stock market dynamism

The CMVM Forum Braga Conference will be held in Braga, where a study on the dynamism of the capital markets will be presented . The event will be opened by the chairman of the regulator, Luís Laginha de Sousa. Also present will be Maria João Carioca (Co-CEO of Galp Energia), João Pratas (chairman of APFIPP), António Dias Martins (Executive Director of Startup Portugal) and Ricardo Rio (Braga City Council).

How are Portuguese banks doing?

The Bank of Portugal publishes a portrait of the Portuguese Banking System at the end of the first quarter of the year , including data ranging from the profitability of capital and assets to the quality of the balance sheet.

Is there an investigation into the blackout coming?

From 3 pm onwards, Parliament will discuss and vote on a proposal presented by Livre to create a commission of inquiry into the response given by the authorities to the blackout on 28 April.

Bank valuation of houses and other indicators
