Bitcoin hits new all-time high of over $112,000

Bitcoin, the most traded cryptocurrency on the market, hit a new all-time high today, at a time when trade tensions have intensified again and the US dollar continues to depreciate.
According to data from financial news agency Bloomberg, shortly before 9 pm on Wednesday (Lisbon time), the cryptocurrency reached a new all-time high of $112,009 (€95,461).
Bitcoin subsequently lost momentum and fell to $111,048 (€94,643) around 6:00 am in Lisbon.
In this way, the market-leading cryptocurrency renews its highs (the previous high was $111,980 or €95,437), recorded on May 23.
