Lisbon Stock Exchange opens in the green with EDP Renováveis leading gains

The Lisbon Stock Exchange opened Thursday's session in the green, rising 0.48% to 7,429.97 points.
The biggest increases were for EDP Renováveis, which appreciated 1.29% to 9.84 euros, followed by REN, which appreciated 1.16% to 3.04 euros, and Semapa, which grew 0.86% to 16.46 euros.
Also in the green are Mota-Engil, EDP, Navigator, Altri, NOS, Jerónimo Martins, CTT, Corticeira Amorim, Banco Comercial Português (BCP), and Galp Energia.
Trading in the red is Ibersol, which falls 0.42% to 9.38 euros, and Sonae, which falls 0.33% to 1.19 euros.
The main European stock exchanges opened in the green. The DAX (Germany) rose 0.59%, the CAC 40 (France) rose 0.42%, and the FTSE 100 (United Kingdom) grew 0.07%.
The AEX (Netherlands) is down 0.02%, the IBEX 35 (Spain) is up 0.42%, and the FTSE MIB (Italy) is up 0.38%.
Oil is trading higher with Brent up 0.87% to $67.01 and crude up 0.97% to $65.55.
The euro is appreciating 0.36% against the dollar, to 1.16969 dollars and the euro is falling 0.16% against the pound, to 0.85194 pounds.
