Small businesses can choose the number of installments to pay off debts with the Federal Revenue Service

Individual microentrepreneurs (MEI), microenterprises (ME), and small businesses (EPP) interested in settling their debts with the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service (RFB) have a new feature available. Now, under the ordinary installment plan, the agency allows taxpayers to choose, at the time of application, the number of installments they wish to pay. This gives small business owners greater autonomy in choosing the plan that best suits their financial situation.
This measure is crucial to prevent companies from being excluded from the Simples Nacional tax regime. Furthermore, debt renegotiation allows small businesses to access a range of benefits, such as participating in public procurement. According to the Federal Revenue Service, the maximum limit is 60 installments . The minimum amounts per installment remain set at R$300.00 for companies under the Simples Nacional system and R$50.00 for individual microentrepreneurs.
It's a great opportunity for entrepreneurs. The decision to renegotiate debts ensures the small business's solidity, in addition to saving money. Paying in installments allows the company to have stable conditions to participate in more demanding markets that require this certificate of regularity, in addition to ensuring a debt-free future.
