The EU statistics office releases the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the eurozone and the EU for June. It should be noted that the previous month saw a 0.1 percentage point acceleration to a year-on-year increase of 2.0%, precisely the limit set by the ECB. Also in May, inflation registered a zero change, quarter-on-quarter.
