Wall Street starts with slight gains

The New York Stock Exchange opened Friday's session in positive territory, with indexes recording slight gains.
Thus, the Dow Jones added 0.94% to 43,386.84 points, the S&P 500 gained 0.23% to 6,155.13 points and the technological Nasdaq appreciated 0.30% to 20,229.49 points.
According to Millennium Investment Banking market analyst Ramiro Loureiro, “Wall Street is preparing to start on a high, extending yesterday’s gains, which will take the S&P 500 to its highest value ever”.
“Despite the revelation that both personal income and spending in the US unexpectedly contracted in May, indicating that heightened uncertainty surrounding the Trump administration’s economic policies is increasingly weighing on consumers, investors are encouraged by the US-China trade deal ahead of the July 9 deadline for reciprocal tariffs to take effect. This development raises expectations that the US president will reach an agreement with other trading partners to avoid imposing additional tariffs on imports.
Additionally, the expert highlighted “Nike’s accounts and Outlook were well received by analysts, who speak of signs of an inflection in the decline in revenues”.
The analyst also highlighted “a new purchase attempt launched by CoreWeave from Core Scientific, after the failed 2024 takeover bid, which reinforces the thesis that Bitcoin mining companies with privileged access to large amounts of energy are becoming strategic targets for companies linked to the area of Artificial Intelligence, which could encourage other listed companies, such as Iren, which has been rising for four consecutive weeks and in the last 4 sessions has risen more than 25%. Furthermore, there are upgrades that pull up Trade Desk and Estee Lauder”.
