Carolina Dieckmann reveals how she was fired from Preta Gil, a cancer victim at age 50: 'She called me'
Carolina Dieckmann was in New York, in the United States, when Preta Gil died, this Sunday (20). " Caring for you - incessantly - these last 4 days, being so close , with you... was the greatest gift in the world", wrote the actress, one of the singer's best friends .
Dieckmann, who is filming the soap opera "Vale Tudo," said that, by luck, she was able to be with her friend in her final moments. "The universe opened up for me to be here. Our connection called me... and I came. I'm still here, Preta. I came, I came," she emphasized, making her anguish clear.
Carolina, who said she was already returning to Brazil, alone, concluded her farewell: "Rest, my love. How you fought... It will be very difficult, but the time we had is a blessing... and our love is much greater. I will die of longing; but I will live with you here, inside!!!"
Preta Gil died on Friendship Day
Through her Instagram Stories, Carolina recalled that Preta Gil died on the very day that Friendship Day is celebrated. "The pain of losing your best friend is already devastating, and on Friendship Day it's absurd," wrote one user, whose message was shared by the actress.
Earlier, before Preta's death was confirmed, Carolina paid tribute to her friend . "Together, today, and always, always, until beyond," she wrote, already hinting that the artist's health was very serious.
