Gugu Liberato's son is surprised by his mother's gift: 'Secret for 18 years'

João Augusto Liberato , the eldest son of presenter Gugu Liberato (1959-2019), was surprised this Monday (23) with a gift of inestimable emotional value. At 23 years old, the young man shared with his followers an intimate and moving moment when revealing the gift he received from his mother, Rose Miriam Di Matteo .

After returning from the gym, João found a framed picture at home with a detail that left him visibly emotional: all the birthday candles he had used from his first year of life until he turned 18. The surprise, carefully prepared by his mother over almost two decades, also included childhood photos that recalled memories of his early years.

"I just got back from the gym, I got home and look at the surprise my mother gave me. She gave me a frame with all the candles from every birthday I had until I was 18. It also has some photos of me, from when I was little," said João when showing the gift in a video posted on social media.

Gugu 's heir did not hide his emotion when commenting on his mother's gesture of affection. "This is really cool. Thank you, mom! I didn't know you had kept these candles. You kept this secret for 18 years," he said. It is worth remembering that, in addition to João Augusto , Rose is the mother of twins Sofia and Marina Liberato , 21 years old. The three are the result of her relationship with Gugu .
