Millie Bobby Brown Gives Glimpse of Life as a Mom
Millie Bobby Brown is embracing mom life.
The Stranger Things star offered fans a peek at how she and her husband Jake Bongiovi are settling into life as parents after announcing that they adopted a baby girl earlier this year.
In a post on Instagram Sept. 1, Millie, 21, and Jake, 23, proved they’re still making time for romance between diaper changes as the model planted a kiss on his wife’s cheek while she snapped a selfie during a recent dinner date.
But the expansion of their family has also led to some adjustments for the couple—who wed in May 2024 after three years of dating—including how they travel. The photo carousel included a photo of the actress walking through an airport carrying both a blue backpack and a gray duffle bag, while another pic featured Jake walking down a tarmac with their most precious cargo: their infant daughter strapped in her baby carrier.
Back in August, Millie and Jake—whose parents are Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Bongiovi—revealed their happy news in a post on social media.
“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” the pair said in a joint statement on Millie’s Instagram page Aug. 21. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”
Prior to becoming a mom, the Enola Holmes star frequently discussed her desire to have kids. Just months earlier, she shared that family planning was one of many values she and Jake were in agreement on early in their relationship.
“We were pretty united going into it,” Millie told Vanity Fair in an interview published in February. “We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we’re looking for, the kind of careers we want. It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was. It always felt right with him.”
