The wedding between Gabriel David and Giovanna Lancellotti, held on Saturday (June 21) in Rio de Janeiro, drew attention not only for the choice of Christ the Redeemer as the setting, but also for decisions considered unconventional for this type of ceremony. The businessman, president of Liesa, and the actress made their union official in a private event, attended by close friends and well-known figures.

Among the details that sparked curiosity among fans of the celebrity's life, one particularly caught their attention: the absence of wedding rings in the images shared by the couple. When asked about this by a follower on Instagram, Gabriel responded directly: "We are modern. We don't dance or wear wedding rings." The statement was made during an interaction through a question box opened by the businessman.

Giovanna, in turn, took the opportunity to joke about the topic and made reference to a performance she had on "Domingão com Huck", saying in good humor: "Actually, we danced to 'Abracadabra'". The relaxed response reinforced the informal and laid-back tone adopted by the two throughout the event.

The ceremony, marked by strong symbolism, was just the first part of the wedding. According to information released on the couple's social media, a second ceremony is scheduled to take place next Saturday (June 28), in São João da Boa Vista, in the interior of São Paulo — the city where Giovanna was raised. The new occasion will have a religious character and promises a larger structure, also aimed at family members and godparents.

The ceremony in the capital of Rio de Janeiro was attended by several godparents from the artistic world. Among them were actors Agatha Moreira, Rodrigo Simas, Fernanda Paes Leme and Miguel Rômulo, as well as Enzo Celulari and Thaís Müller. This gathering of guests contributed to the intimate atmosphere, but at the same time, celebrated the union in a remarkable way.
