Black kid refuses to answer questions from the Attorney General's Office during interrogation

Lieutenant Colonel Rodrigo Bezerra Azevedo refused to answer the prosecution's questions during questioning at the Supreme Federal Court (STF) on Monday, the 28th. The soldier is part of the Army's special forces group, known as the Black Kids .
Arrested for eight months, he is one of the defendants in core 3 of the complaint filed by the Attorney General's Office (PGR) and was questioned by Judge Rafael Tamai, assistant magistrate to Minister Alexandre de Moraes , rapporteur of the actions regarding the coup plot.
According to the indictment, carried out by the PGR, Azevedo is one of the military personnel who participated in the clandestine action on December 15, 2022 to monitor Alexandre de Moraes .
According to investigations, the lieutenant colonel responded to the codename “Brasil” in messages intercepted by investigators on a cell phone, which was later rehabilitated with another number in Azevedo's name.
During the hearing, held via videoconference, the defendant only answered questions asked by the assistant judge and his own defense.
The lieutenant colonel denied participating in the coup plot or monitoring Moraes's routine. He stated that he was on vacation with his family in Spain and did not participate in the incident.
Furthermore, Azevedo stated that there is no evidence against him. "I am being wrongly accused due to a mistake by the Federal Police. Without any evidence, using false information, [the Federal Police] misled the court. After my arrest, nothing concrete was found," he stated.
As defendants, the accused may remain silent when asked questions by representatives of the PGR and Alexandre de Moraes' office.
InterrogationThe Supreme Federal Court (STF) is questioning nine Army soldiers and a federal police officer on Monday who belong to nucleus 3 of the complaint filed by the PGR.
Some of the soldiers were part of the Army's Special Forces Battalion, whose soldiers are known as “black kids ”.
Those accused in this group are accused of planning “tactical actions” to carry out the coup plot, including monitoring Alexandre de Moraes and President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
