Eduardo Bolsonaro is expected to leave office and claims that 'work' in the US is more important

Federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) said on Monday the 14th that he will not return to Brazil at this time and indicated that he is inclined to resign from his mandate. He is the target of an investigation by the Supreme Federal Court for plotting against Brazilian authorities in the United States.
"For now, I'm not going back. My date to return is when Alexandre de Moraes no longer has the power to arrest me," he said in an interview with the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo . "If I lose my mandate, I will lose my mandate and stay here. The work I'm doing here is more important than the work I could do in Brazil."
Eduardo's leave ends next Sunday the 20th.
Last Tuesday 8th, Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes extended the deadline for the Federal Police to conclude the investigation against Eduardo by 60 days .
Since March, when he took leave from office, the far-right congressman has been seeking punishment for people who, in his view, "violate human rights in Brazil." His number one target is Moraes, the rapporteur of the investigation into the 2022 coup attempt—which could lead to the arrest of Jair Bolsonaro (PL) later this year.
The Attorney General of the Republic, Paulo Gonet, pointed to the possible practice of three crimes when requesting the opening of the investigation by the Supreme Federal Court: coercion in the course of the process, obstruction of the investigation of a criminal offense involving a criminal organization and violent abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law.
