The Clássico-Rei ended in a 1-1 draw on Thursday night (6) at Castelão, and it wasn't good for either club, especially for Fortaleza. Adam Barreiro opened the scoring for Leão and Pedro Raul equalized for Ceará almost at the end of the game.

With this result, Fortaleza remains in the relegation zone, in 19th position with 29 points. Ceará is in a better position, but is still in danger. They are currently 13th with 39 points.

THE GAME

The Clássico-Rei (King's Classic) started with a lot of action in midfield, with both teams looking for openings to score. There weren't many clear-cut chances in attack, with few threats for the goalkeepers. Fortaleza's defense held off attacks from Pedro Raul and Vina. Ceará had some good opportunities against Leão (Fortaleza), but Bruno Ferreira couldn't stop Adam Barreiro's shot, making it 1-0 for Tricolor (Fortaleza).

The second half also started with a lot of action. Fortaleza held on as best they could when Ceará launched attacks, but in the 44th minute, Pedro Raul managed to get past Brenno and equalized the match at Castelão. In the end, the derby was intense, but finished in a 1-1 draw.

UPCOMING COMMITMENTS

In the 33rd round, Ceará visits Corinthians on Sunday (9), at 4 pm (Brasília time) at Neo Química Arena. Fortaleza closes the round by hosting Grêmio at Castelão.
