Leonardo Jardim values ​​tournament in Cruzeiro tests before the resumption of the calendar

The 1-0 victory over Banfield-ARG at the end of the Vitória Cup, this Sunday (6), gave coach Leonardo Jardim one certainty for the rest of the season: the tests were very beneficial.

"We faced competitive games, with an intensity that we don't see in training. It was important to gain rhythm. We managed to win, which is important, but the most important thing was what we saw in the first half, a determined team, even with poor field conditions," said the coach.

Despite the triumph this Sunday (9), Raposa's campaign had a scare. After all, the sky-blue team debuted with a defeat in the competition (1-0 to Defensa y Juticia).

"We didn't do what we were used to in the first game, but today we followed our identity. We achieved our objectives in the tournament", he concluded.

Next Sunday, the 13th, Raposa will host Grêmio , at the Mineirão stadium.
